Need information regarding where/when to ride
Hi
I´m going on vacation in Longboat Key 7-17 november and trying to get some idea regarding the riding conditions around that area at this time of year. I´m travelling from Iceland and want to minimize the gear I´m bringing with me. So I guess my questions are: -How is the wind at this time of year -Risk of sharks -Many spots around this area -Are there many people riding in november I have been browsing this forum but haven´t been able to find any enough information!!! Thanks Siggi |

wind season is ON in november but can be erratic since it is cold front dependent.
there are no sharks ( at that time ) just dolphins. the spots in that area only supports a west wind so if its not from the west you will have to drive north to the skyway or ft Desoto if it is east winds in order to ride. I am sure a few people ride in longboat if the wind is west in longboat. look at the forecast or back here on the forum before your trip to get a better idea of the possibility of wind then. BTW, If only bringing 1 kite I would choose a 12m , followed by a 9m if lightweight or a 16m if heavyweight and a low rocker TT board
