awesome session
Finally , after a long no wind break, yesterday I had a 3 hour session at Smathers, and although it was only about 16 to 18 mph it rocked, hope we get to ride again over the next few days.

Monday-Wednesday looks promising. Did middle to upper keys ride also or did only Key West get wind? Molasses reef sensor was out so couldnt get the readings for middle keys.
Forecast for yesterday was near 15 knots so if you got 16-18 mph thats pretty damn spot on for the forecast. Thats why Im a litle excited bout Monday. Whale you gonna chime in? |

Ya know. I didnt get down there til 12:30. I looked at the Sombrero meter just for reference and sure enough it was on until around 1 PM. I guess I came in too late.
It was ridable. A 14 meter with a big board would of done nice but after this summer I wasnt about to set up for that ride. Its about time for a honkin front! Sunday-Monday fellers! North wind. Get your bayside skiffs ready. |
