Kite-Ninja sets personal record
Attachment 1088
Hello all of my former kiting friends. Kevin Maxfield and I set a personal low temperature record yesterday at Picnic Island -52 degrees. If you guys can warm up your man-ginas enough to kite, give me a call. There was supposed to be an attached pic but I'm not thawed out enough to figure out how to put it in here.Attachment 1088 |

Lol
Thats funny stuff! I did a downwinder yesterday from Sand Key to Indian Rocks. We left at 5 and landed our kites right at sunset. I had on a 4/3 with gloves. No booties or head gear. I was fine until right around sunset. We landed the kites and I was FREEZING! It had to be low 40's maybe 30's with the wind chill.
The things we do to get some wind! Stay warm! : ) |

Sorry Ken got ya beat. A bunch of us kited a month ago north county on the coldest day of the year. Daytime high was 34 degrees with winchill in the teens. It was brutal. 3 of us had drysuits and were toasty. It's Fn cold out there. This place is gonna be jumping when it warms up.
