Cure for summer no wind doldrums

Would like to get there, maybe next year, whish I could have made it this year, but at least I am heading to Ecuador soon.

Interesting reading in July Issue of National Geographic. The area described is about 200 miles North West of Jericoacoara.

...relentless northeasterly wind drives the sand as far as 30 miles inland, sculpting crescent-shaped dunes up to 130 feet high as far as the eye can see.
