Adventure Sports Ft. Lauderdale - LAUNCH PARTY!
 The guys are laying on a party to celebrate the new story in Ft. Lauderdale. For those that have attended some of the parties at the Miami stores you know that they are epic, must attend events. That said, here are the details ... "Adventure Sports welcomes you to celebrate the opening of our newest location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Friday, October 19th, from 6pm - 10pm join us for our season LAUNCH PARTY! Adventure Sports is excited and privileged to introduce to you, our latest flagship store and the newest additions to our Adventure Sports team. Staying true to form, all of the refreshments are on the house! That usually means the tap will be flowing for the duration! And, you'll have access to a ton of sales specials available this one night only! Adventure Sports' mission is to provide a center for attaining premium products in a setting rich with skilled management and sales personnel to promote a knowledge based and service minded culture. The simple goal being the customer walks away with the right product and the right information. A combined 40+ years of experience at the retail level is the foundation for the current model of corporate leaders and management personnel on the sales floor. The belief is that in providing a trusted source for quality merchandise, along with friendly, trusted service and support, a more readied, eager participant and customer is created. Adventure Sports Ft. Lauderdale had it launch party Friday night. A good crowd turned out to checkout the store, food, drinks and to catch up on happenings on the water.
  A look at the front of the store interior. (CLICK photo for full sized image)  What a great setting to gear up and get ready for a week or so of wind starting Monday!  Lots of excellent kite gear ready to fly off the shelves and to a beach near you!  Standup gear central, like the board hanger system they use here.  GoPro gear out the wazoo!  Some of the Adventure Sports crew, Bret and Thea  Active sports fashion for the whole family  Nick from The Kitehouse in Key West is up  Vickie is another one of the crew who along with Luke and Brett that make up the Adventure Sports Ft. Lauderdale operation.  It is the people that make a difference in the operation. Brent and Patrick come up from Adventure Sports Miami to help out.   Andy Morrell of British Virgin Islands HiHo Race fame and his son Sam talk with Packet Casey creator of Zulu Race SUP boards.  Bryan and Nick catch up on the lower left while Cory of Imagine SUP talks with Packet. Lots of folks came down to see the store.  A 180 degree view of the front of the store. Store Manager Luke Svanberg checks someone out at the register. Garrett Scotti mans the front desk as well. No end of fun water stuff here.   They even have this nifty tripod that tracks whomever is wearing the transducer. So, put your video or still camera on the tripod and go out and rip loose trusting your moves will be captured.   This young fellow was miffed as he wanted to start out with a 12 m kite instead of a trainer, kids.  Paula, Thea, Bonnie and Vickie graciously go on a run for some suds for the party. Many thanks!
