"HEADS UP ! We just have a visit from the Town at the store about Kiteboarding at Pompano Beach was some complains from the Hotel of people teaching at Beach we need to be caution on this."


Guys teaching on the beach have caused problems here and elsewhere over the years. If it is a choice between a few unlicensed, uninsured guys making some bucks on the side vs. your continued ability to ride at a great venue, which do you choose?

Get together with your kiting friends and have a tactful discussion with these instructors. This one factor alone almost flushed kiting from LBTS forever. Take it seriously and please act responsibly to nip this in the bud.

Thanks for the heads up Rick, I think this should be posted to kiteforum as well. I see people teaching paid lessons all over the place now. Kills the instructional industry, also makes for new riders that don't really know what they should know.
