I was there in July a few years ago. It was great! What part of PR will you be traveling to? There is a writeup about La Parguera at: http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=103 I think between the trades and thermal wind amplification off the SW coast, they might actually do better than Cabarette at times for wind there.

Doing the grand island tour sounds like a good approach. Lots to see and do around PR.

I would avoid the aggro dudes, things can get out of hand at times. People sometimes toss out mortal threats, here and there. There is a difference however, http://www.puertorico-herald.org/iss...thHiMrdr.shtml

Dude, the best wind and waves in the whole world are in SC.

Usually best in May/ June tho',

side off 35+kts with 4-8 ft waves that peel towards your right for 1/2-1 mile

watch out for the sea loins!

Say Hi to Kevin,

Good idea AJ. The summer calms are pretty much on Florida. A wind destination trip sounds like just the ticket. What sort of places come to mind? What do the rest of the folks think out there?

There are exceptions though, I was out on a 12 m Switchblade and powered up most of the time for about 3 hours tonight. This was the first session in a couple of weeks I think.
