Default Howzawind?

Looks like there should be some more wind this morning. They're saying 15 to 20 mph dropping later in the day. It was light to pretty good yesterday at times. Anyone getting any water time out there?

Got to ride for about an hour with Jeremy off smathers this morning , Frank ,Jay and Rasta also came down about noon to ride, but I had to leave to take my boat out to the sandbar off Boca Chica to clean the hull, hope they all had a decent session.

Glad you got some time in Greg, it was good to see you, your wife and Frank again. Hope the hull work went quickly. I used to do a lot of hulls, up to 90 ft. deep draft sailboats underwater for cash when I was in college. "It's always a nice day in the Intracoastal" with decapods raining down on you and crawling in your ears.

We went a bit north in the Keys today and had a pretty good session. I got to see the old double decker Flagler Bridge up close and ride near the vicinity of the Seven Mile Bridge today. Interesting stuff and photos to follow once the come out of the can.

Hooked up with Kevin, Jenny and their young un at their new Kiteboarding and Free Diving Store in the Keys. It may be the only one I have come across in Florida that covers that range of activities. The shop, "Above & Below Extreme Sports" looks great, just on the Florida Bay side at mile marker 53 in Marathon. More to come on that touching as it does on two of my favorite pursuits.

Yet another good wind weekend in June???

Hey Jeff,

I'm out for a trip down there this week unfortunately. There is always Smathers in Key West. There is a lot on here about Smathers and the Flats of Key West which is really nice as well. Further north there is Curry Park near Marathon. Kevin or Jenny with Above & Below Extreme Ocean Sports in Marathon should be able to fill you in on Curry. Further north still in Islamorada there is Whale Harbor. Lots about Whale Harbor on this site as well. Seven Sports and the Otherside can fill you in on the Islamorada scene. Hope you get some good water time in.

Looks like it will just be a weekend for lazing around ,as the forecast does not look good for kiting, if the viz is good , we might do some diving.
