Hatteras Hype!!!!
Have you ever thought the grass is greener on the other side. I have been programmed through the years that Hatteras is the place to be. Been there twice and I don't think its all that compared to Florida. I would put our season Jan-May against there season April-August any day. Bring it on.
They don't have the keys! They don't really have flat water! There is not much do to on a no wind day! In Florida..... Waves....check Flatwater...check Warm climate.....check Clear water....check More wind than anyone cares to admit.....priceless! This past month of August we have ridden our asses off. On Monday, you couldn't have paid me 100 bucks to do one sit up. I was shot. A week in Hatteras didn't do that. I think even Corpus was dead and the Gorge too! Them, they have been sitting around wondering when its going to get windy. I don't know about everyone else, but I am stoked to be a Floridian and a kiteboarder. Wouldn't wish I were any where else as far as the US is concerned....well maybe Hawaii but that doesn't count. Hatteras smatteras!!!!!! Florida rocks!!!! ps.....oh yeah, we do have guys like Kevin though.

Guess all us Canadian kiteboarders need to start coming to Florida then!
 Wait. I forgot. You get all the snowbirds down there already...... Never been to Florida...... yet! Been to Hatteras 4 times since 2006. Two good trips and two so so ones. When it is on with a SW it is great though. Beats king in 39 deg air and water temp any day up in Ontario here. Is it obvious we haven't had any wind up here for 5 days?
