I am very sorry this happened Chris, I hope you get your gear back. I ask all the folks out in the kiting community particularly in Miami-Dade
and Broward Counties to please keep an eye out for this gear, at local shops, on Ebay and Craig's list. Who knows they might even go
to some of the local launch areas with it.

It would be great if someone among us could help to reverse the wrong done to Chris and his girl friend here.

Also, if you have a kite school or store in southeast Florida and can help out Chris and his girlfriend with some loaner gear in the interim,
that would be outstanding!

So, look around and please help if you can.

Thank you!

Some more from kiteforum. The timing of the removal of the ad suggests this lead may be worth pursuing with Craig's List. I would guess they would like to discourage the sale of stolen merchandise through their site and may have a policy of helping to a degree.

No I don't. It was a photo of a board matching the description (colors) and with a 305 phone number. The board was specified to be a 133X39 2010 XRide. The photo appeared to have been taken with the board leaning up against a wall in a parking garage. Interesting setting for the photo, I thought.

I wish I had taken a screenshot.

Chris, there may have been a development. I sent an email to you this morning about it. Please get in touch with me once you review it.

Hello again...
I also found a pic of our two bags (the suitcase is not stolen, just the two big bags) and I remembered that my hybrid-harness was a Wanna.
I have contacted the Miami Beach Police Department again but I did not hear any news from them.
I guess our stuff is gone... :-(

Too bad never anything showed up anywhere.
The police also never replied or gave any information.
So I guess that was it...
But thank you for helping!
