Default Wind on Sunday???

Not many forecast are showing wind for Sunday, however, accuweather is.

Upperteens with a peak at 20 for late morning into afternoon before the front hits.

This to me will be a good test for accuweather IMO.

Would like to get out there and ride. C'mon accuweather......show me the money!!!!

Accuweather will not fail you on Sunday. You can plan on a good mid day ride.

Tough call Big G. Sunday may or may not happen. I'd bring a cooler and beach chair to the beach and pray for the south wind to kick in. Monday dawn patrol looks like a better bet from the north. I hope aw is right... i'd much rather ride a warm wind on sunday than a rainy north monday.

Its triying thats for sure. Maybe a ride out to the beach is a good idea. Sure beats sitting around the house.

Curious how it was today for those that tried.

Accuweather changed their tune this morning, but there was some rideable wind this afternoon on the northern beaches with a solid report from Honeymoon blowing 16-19knots all afternoon.

It seemed the farther I drove south of IRB, the worst the wind got.

Was st. pete any good today?

North End of Caladisi was good steady high teens to low twentys from 11 untill we left at 4 PM. Really nice day on the 14m wiht nice little rollers coming thru all day. Rode all the way up wind to north end of Clearwater Beach then back up north to Hurricane Pass several times. The red line on the Ikite wind chart at Clearwater for today shows what we experienced on the beach.
