Default Ft. Myers/Sanibel help

Hi-
I posted this in the SW section but got zip..thought I broaden it.

I need some help/advise. I'm interested in any schools or instructors in the Ft. Myers or Sanibel area. I just started snowkiting and want to learn kitesurfing. I will be in that area in the middle of April. I found the school in St.Pete but that is a couple hours away. Any thoughts would be great.

Lyle

edit-I just found the ACE Performer( Ft. Myers)shop and site....thoughts?

Hello Lyle,

Just got back from out of town and have been somewhat out of touch. Anyway, Roy Massy of Ace Performer is the FKA AC for Ft. Meyers and Sanibel and is a good guy to get in touch with about kiteboarding in the area over there. As I recall he was one of the first instructors to use a chase boat to escort and coach students during lessons in Florida.

Default Thanks

Thanks Rick-

Were you @ Skyline? The guys from Jackson Hole who got me into this were @ Skyline, Utah.

Thank you very much for the info. That is what I was looking for. I will contact him and try to set something up.

Cheers-

Lyle

You're welcome Lyle. Say hi to Roy for me when you see him. No, I was fairly far off in the opposite direction, to the east. I have yet to make it to Utah although the abundant powder there looks mighty good.

Have fun,
