THEFT - Your stuff might be next?
Well, maybe in you're in the SE. I spoke to the rangers and apparently there have been some other similar thefts of opportunity. I imagine the guy grabs a lot more surfboards than kite stuff. Makes you think twice about leaving gear on the beach. This guy is a kiter using a 2006 Slingshot Fuel, probably can be seen at local launches.
THEFT On Video - This young thief stole a 2007 North Jaime Pro (128 or 129cm) kiteboard belong to Brett today near the Palmetto Pavilion in Boca Raton this evening. Brett is a young guy, trying to go to college but like so many of us is having trouble swinging the bucks. To have some precious gear stolen, more than sucks! You can see the thief running down the left side of the beach at the start of my cloud travel log. Hadn't intended on posting this clip. Didn't even see the guy book, I was focused on the sky. I even spoke to the guy before, he's a kiter, rides a 2006 Fuel, more details to come on that and this guy too. I would guess he is likely in his late teens maybe in early 20's. Is about 5'9", has short red blond curly hair is about 165 lbs.. A guy came up five minutes after I shot this and said someone stole my friend's board!

Bret and I just watched this video. That's no doubt his board..Also, it's a 2007 North Jaime Pro (128 or 129cm), not a Best. He waited for the chance to steal it, and you can see him booking off with it in the vid.
If anybody sees this red head kid please let us know. Word is he is from Lauderdale. Thanks, Sean Buell

Hopefully this guy is caught, if he is a Kiter from Florida then someone will know him. Spread the word and find this guy!!!
