Great for light winds. I've done something similar with my kayak, but did not have to ditch my fishing rod (an expensive ride). The shark tired out after 1/2 hour and I cut the line close to the sharks mouth. For "Shark Boarding/Surfing" I would have used a cheap waterski rope. However, someone is probably going to try this here and get bitten. Plus the animal rights activists will complain about abusing the sharks.
