Better late than never ... WIND is on the way!!!

South Florida is forecast to have several days or more of wind in the 15 to 20 kts. range starting tomorrow. This May hasn't been that bad really, not nuking but rideable for quite a few days. Hope you can get out and grab some quality water time.

No, as far as I understand it, we're done riding there on weekends until after Labor Day. Its an annual tradition after all. You can hop a sea taxi boat to the flats however.

There is that, then again you would do better for waves further north anyway. Why not check out Ft. Pierce or Jupiter on Tuesday if you can fit it in? Although he wind is supposed to stay up longer further south, perhaps for much of the week, even Palm Beach might not be a bad prospect.

Hope it comes through. We had some great winds at the end of May three years ago. It would be nice to have it again!

Blowing about 16 kts. SSE between Delray and Dania. A stack of thermal squalls seems to be moving seaward from the Everglades. Grab some wind time if you can before the squalls come too close bringing gusts and lightning.

The afternoon sea breeze has been pumpin the last two days. Out from Noon-5 in Dania both days. Clear flat water and enough to have a good time.

11.5 Kahoona and a twin tip for reference.

HOWZAWIND??? ... mighty fine!!!

Got out last night for the first time in a month. It was nice to well powered, find it cuts the wrist irritation way down not to be underpowered. Shot some interesting images too, stay tuned for that. Who else got some? More to come for the next several days, 15 to 20 kts. + from the forecast, yeeha!
