Default WIND in the forecast ... !

It has been so long, what is "wind" again?

"wind 1. n. a. Moving air, especially a natural and perceptible movement of air parallel to or along the ground."

Well, we're sure ready for something more than "perceptible movement." With some luck, it may come to pass later this week. Frontal season has to start sometime, albeit a bit late.

Thursday: Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet. Dominant period 3 seconds. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. A chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms.

This is still pretty far off for accuracy still it is about time. Rig right, have a care out there and have fun.
