Default Get it while you can!!!!

Well the last two weekends in a row have been pretty sweet indeed.

Get it while you can cuz the long term forecast looks pretty weak.

I guess with the temps today hitting around 90 degrees, that signals to me the beginning of the end.

When's that next trip??????

Angry An even worse forecast....

I think your right Steve-O. On a more sour note, WTF with the oil spill?? That will put us in the longest flat spell Florida has ever seen! Raley to oil in your face doesn't seem like a promising future.

Just venting but I think that at the rate it is going we could be looking at a TERRIBLE forecast.

Sucks that it is even happening right now ANYWHERE. Time will tell....

Oil spills never have a good outcome. We all have our differences, opinions, and disagreements on here, but I think we can all agree that drilling off of Florida's coast is just a bad idea. We have some of the most pristine beaches in the world, I can't imagine them covered with oil and goop.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, oil spills, war, the list goes on.

Makes you wonder about 2012 predictions.

End of the world, Raul. Didn't you see the movie?
I tell ya', stuff does seem to be getting more extreme as time moves on.

This "spill" is more of a geyser-sized leak.
From what I have read (hope I am WAY wrong), this thing may not get capped for months. Very possible that this could be the worst ecological disaster in modern times. I pray not, but with the losers that make decisions in big biz and Gov't regarding what is right vs. cost-effective, I worry.

This thing is pouring out 200,000 gallons a day for the next few months, it will no doubt affect our shoreline in the Bay area soon.

We should get together and see what we can do to help curb some of the damage around here before it hits.

I would imagine many of the Bay area environmental orgs are preparing for the worst and could use all the help they can get.

I think the local Surfrider Foundation is having a meeting tonight. I will try to find out more info.

www.suncoastsurfrider.org

Surfrider is one of the leading organization to save our oceans. They have been protesting oil driling offshore for awhile now.

I for one will not be purchasing gas from BP anymore. You know the greedy bastards lobbied to cut corners and lower standards which only raises the chances of a disaster of this proportion happening.

I had a long talk with Chase the other night about all this, and it is getting very serious very quick for all of us.
