great race..
congrats stacey, andy, damien, billy, and everyone else who participated. Gotta say training and board choice make a huge difference for this event. 1st off. My liquid force 12 havoc was insane kite.even though it was my frist time really using it. 2nd my stiff wakestyle board with bindings, horrible choice, doesnt like to go that fast in chop downwind. 3rd training really makes a difference. AKA dont not ride for a month and then come back and do this race.ESP if you ahve never done a ocean downwinder before. 4th Killer race tons of fun, draining for sure.. I have never missed so many beautiful waves in my life. Good experience for sure..
