This is one of the best spots we have for kiting certain wind directions!

Any ideas to prevent this catastrophe???

Seems like if they do it at South Skyway, it would be less likely to be done on the north end.

Looks like there is still a lot for them to figure out. It's hard to imagine that they would actually build this right where we actually launch, right, or are they talking about filling that entire area in?

They mention servicing the potential ramp from the fishing pier access road. Hopefully that may indicate a ramp on the west side of the bridge.

It's a lot more protected and makes much more sense.
The public boat ramp situation is pretty bad, especially over on that side of the bay.

The hi-n-dry situation isn't much better. The owners are selling them to be converted to waterfront condos and dock-o-miniums. You obviously already know all of this, Bob.

Common sense tells me they will put it on the gulf side.... that's where the channel is, and it's where everyone is going (to the beaches and the gulf). Maybe backside is toast.
