Default Smather's Pole Removal

Any of you who have ridden Smather's Beach in Key West are familiar with the swimming area poles that have plagued kiteboarders over the years. Greg and company have succeeded in getting one of the poles removed. Here's pics of that effort. They were using a hydraulic chain saw.

Default Smathers pole removal

Thanks Rick, they are also dumping fresh sand along Smathers this week to help restore erosion damage. Now if only we can get some decent East winds to ride in.
