Buying a kite and just "hooking it up" is beyond stupid.

i was on madeira beach last wednesday, great sw conditions in the moderate swell. while on the beach, some dude walked by, looked my 15m fuel setup over and said (no shite, now) "man, thats how you rig those things. i had the center lines going to the outside (trailing edge) and the outside (steering lines) going to the leading edge. all that kite would do is loop and loop." yeah, i'll bet.

no wonder we have issues losing launch sites...
