Crissy Field Kiteboarding Needs Your Support

Changes are being proposed which will impact kiters at this world famous launch on San Francisco Bay, including:

- We have western style casual lawn parking with grass for multiple recreational use.

- The redesign takes away 50 percent of the grass and replaces it with pavement and pushes parking farther away from the beach.

- The money is meant for maintenance and has to be spent this year.

- The current design is a result of a full EIR specifically taking into account the needs of kite-boarders and windsurfers.

- Now they are trying to rush through a half baked redesign without a full EIR.


The public comment period is closing on April 22, so there is little time to provide your input.
