Question Kite UV-protection

What do you guys use (if any) to UV-protect older/used kites?

I've heard of "303 Aerospace Protectant", looks like it's a good candidate.
My concern is if it's going to affect integrity of the kite's rip-stop polyester fabric, seams, bladders/valves, etc.

Anybody have any experience with this or other products in regards to application to kites?
What is that product they soak the fabric for new kites?

I have never used any preparations and have no experience with them. I found the following product but again have no knowledge about its actual effectiveness or problems:

I would get in touch with these folks and hit them with your questions to see what they say, maybe speak with an active retailer to check on the track record.

I believe it's actually a polyester ripstop material not nylon...nylon stretches too much

Yep, kitesurf kites are made from polyester as it is far more resistant and doesnt degrade in the sun or sea.

I don't know about UV protection but I have used Nikwax to re-water proof some kites before and it gives you a really great coating that re-vitalises the colours a bit so might help with UV as well.
