Come celebrate this Tuesday with us. The water is warm and flat (well, not as flat any more, there's a park slowly emerging!!) and the wind is here!! And on Tuesday, the 09 gear will be here too! Slingshot and Cabrinha will be showing off their new stuff at Anne's Beach, mm 74 in the Florida Keys. BBQ and kiteloops.. sounds like a damn fine day to me!! Stuff going on all day, showing off the pics from the day in the evening.. come on down and show what you got.. and see what they got!!
Give The Otherside a call for more details.. 305-853-9728 or shoot me an email.. mike@othersideboardsports.com

IT WAS SICK!!!! Thanks to everyone that showed up and helped out and rode.. Conditions couldn't have been much better. Flat water, TONS of wind.. and even a little rain squall blowing through to give the crew an excuse to go bonkers for a few. Nobody ran for shore, the wind picked up a bit, and the kiteloops just got a little higher.. no pics of that because the shore crowd headed for the cars! We'll post some pics and video as soon as we get it.. there's a few people rocouping and licking wounds.. but what good day doesn't have that after it!!!
THANKS AGAIN EVERYBODY!! We'll be doin plenty more down here! Look for pics to come!

Sounds like a lot of fun, glad some good sustained wind came through. Looking forward to checking out the shots.

Dismayed to hear about everyone ignoring the inbound squall. Hopefully, it was a minor rain cloud (<10 mph gust hopefully) as opposed to a supercell squall or something more serious. What if it cooked off with one of those SE Florida specials, you know boosts to 50 to 70 mph? You really don't know what the wind will do, (die, stay the same, boost stupid or change direction like crazy) until it is on you. Until we take this stuff seriously, there'll be more messed up riders and negative headlines.
