Coumayeur, Italy, I have a soft spot for this small ski area in the Italian Aosta Valley. It was the first place I visited in the Alps with Alpine Adventures out of Ft. Lauderdale back in 1997. What a great experience it was too, this small scenic area opposite Monte Bianco, visits to Chamonix, Valle Glace and over to Zermatt. I highly recommend the area and Alpine Adventures for folks interested in a great locale for mountain sports, great food and ambiance.

Chamonix, a marvelous place for things alpine with some excellent memories. Sharing half of the Mont Blanc Massif with Courmayeur, Italy, this place is a nexus for intense alpine happenings.

Video of the Free ride competition there.

and another ...

Mont Blanc from the Chamonix, FR side as seen from Mount Brevant.

Monte Bianco from the Courmayeur, IT side.

You can experience marvels of the Alps in three countries close to this area.

"this was created by Sherpas Cinema http://www.sherpascinema.com/

Its called Chimæra; which is a utopia. A dream or fantasy. Mythological, it references a fusion of forms that is the personification of winter. By slowing down our perception of reality we get a unique look at a skier's life. Just plug in your headphones and let your senses take over.
I could not find it on youtube so i decided to upload it myself so more people can see the beauty of skiing.

Check out our channel for more cool videos www.youtube.com/user/GoForBr0ke"
