This just in from John Hughes:

"Hello Paddlers- The Mr. Cubanoʼs Florida State Paddleboard Championship is scheduled for March 22 (Saturday) 2008. It is time to start training again! This year we are including a Stand Up Paddle open division.

Location: Sheppard Park, located at the end of SR 520 in Cocoa Beach, FL

Time: Beach registration begins at 7:30AM. Race time is 8:30 AM. King of the Beach competition begins after completion of the race (aprox. 11AM) Trophy presentation is after completetion of events.

Events: The FSPBC is a seven mile race. The King of the Beach is a paddle, run, swim sprint event.
