Guess it's coming up on that time of year again. Time for another TampaBay KiteMasters.

This year is going to be another two part series similar to the first year. Both events will take place after the start of 2008. They will probably be in late January or February.

One of the events will be another 20-30 mile downwind race. Chris Moore has graciously offered to manage this event. He will be deciding the race course and selecting his race committee.

The other event will be a 500 meter speed run. The event will be run by myself, a race committee, and volunteers. This contest will be held in a single location (most likely North Skyway).

The downwind race will be held when winds are expected to be 15-25 knots.
The speed trials will be held in 20-35 knots.

If you are interested in helping in either event please PM Chris or myself directly. As always SPONSORS are also needed.

I am hoping to have the Pre-Party at my house, dependent on completion of ongoing construction.

would like to corordinate with other events, we will do a 55 mile downwind race from marathon -key west....getting coast guard help and others, will take 30 riders only . Want to set date, and i dont want to interfere with any other events. looking at jan 25, 26, 27 maybe
