OT - Epic Conditions!

I just surfed into the opening episode of the Weather Channel's, "Epic Conditions." Not sure how many other mountain addicts there are out there but my mind and sometimes the rest of me drift there this time of year. This in addition to lusting after wind of course.



Anyway, the folks at the TWC did a nice job on this episode throwing in lots of insights into weather hazards, signs along with some nice videography. They even touch on man-eating tree wells at Steamboat. I've fallen into a few there but never came close to drowning in one yet. Then again, the base has never been 30 ft. for my visits either.

So, check it out, there is lots more mediocre fare on the tube most days. Next show this Sunday, big wave surfing a bit closer to topic. I think the Steamboat sequence may get flushed before then so check it out while you can. 2 pm Saturday may be the last showing.
