Naples /Fort Myers 21 hour notice race is on

After checking the wind all night and this morning the direction is perfect and they are calling for 13 to 20 from the wsw to w
And up with gusts of 22 on every web site so the race is on.

Looking light and out of the SW in Naples as it seemed yesterday. The frontal boundary is just moving over Naples now. Hope the wind fills in from good directions for the race.

First of all I would like to thanks every single person for coming to Naples from far and near on Monday jan 19th to participate in our race, I know so many of you come a long way to enter this race and I cant tell you how much we appreciate it, and also thanks to everyone who took time out to help us.

We were so excited that the wind was perfect for the race but as all kiteboarders know Mother Nature has her own plans, you can’t imagine how bad I felt when I saw the kiter’s working to keep the kites in the air then the wind just died.

WE ARE GOING TO REDO THE RACE, WE ARE WAITING UNTILL A FEW OTHER EVENTS HAVE PASSED AND WILL START LOOKING AT THE WIND IN MARCH.

PS: KEEP YOUR SHIRTS SO THAT YOU WILL BE SAME NUMBER AND REGISTRATION WILL BE A BREEZE.
