I just embedded a clearer, 720p resolution video of the race in the article above.

Below is a short clip of another day recently scooter free diving on the wreck of the Copenhagen in better visibility.




This question was presented in the article above. I have never seen a good image of the Copenhagen while it was still afloat. There was just the partial image of the grounded vessel, see below.

It is possible she resembled the "Glenmoor", see below. It was also constructed by Sir John Priest at the Sunderland shipyard six years later with a similar length and tonnage. This vessel resembles aspects of the artist rendering of the Copenhagen. Input?

The final race of the season is coming up fast this coming weekend in at Weeki Watchee Springs! This excellent venue with gin clear water, nominal current, underwater theater seating for spectators (in air) is primed for this years dive scooter race.
