Looking at the windgraph for yesterday it almost linearly went up from about 10 am to 7 pm, peaking with average winds of 17 mph gusting to 20 mph. Outstanding thermal winds! It hit me last night that the drought we are in along with other conditions may be pretty good for late day thermals if not for our water situation. Normally we would also have those 10 mile high cumulonimbus clouds moving seaward from the everglades but that hasn't started yet either.

Hope to see you there. Currently the windomatic has it at 15 kt. gusting from 14 to 17 kt. I think it might read a bit high and usually think of it in mph instead of kts. Still pretty good for this time of year. The good thermal winds keep coming through.
There are some clouds out west today but they don't look like much on color radar, yet!

Spoke too soon, looks like some heavy weather may be moving to the NE from the everglades. Have a care, the summer thermal cycle may have just started.

I squeezed in a session @ Hammock park in Boynton, from 5:15 till 7pm. I was keeping a close eye on those storms to the NW and when I saw that first bolt of lighting~ I called it quits.
Turns out to have been a good call all around, about 15 minutes after I hit the beach and wrapped it up. The wind died and switch NW as I drove home northward in the rain. Glad to have caught it while it was there. This work **it really gets in the way sometimes~ LOL Hope you were able to get U some  |

Yes, the windomatic has it at 16 to 22 kts. average 18 kts. at 3:30 pm and it might be building. I feel what should be an excellent session coming on tonight! Have fun out there.
