These performances will be recognized on the AIDA world ranking list but points will not go towards the final GULFSTREAM 2008 competition results, only Sat and Sun are required for this....so Mon and Tues are optional and great days to pull out some personal bests.

Requirements

All participants whom wish their performances throughout the course to be recognized on the AIDA International world ranking list must be a member of their AIDA national. For US nationals you can join here - www.usfreediving.org

All participants will require a medical certificate stating 'No Contradictions to Freediving' of no more than 12 months old.

All participants will require a safety lanyard during their depth performances.

All participants need to carefully read the AIDA Rules and Regulations available for download on the AIDA International website - http://www.aida-international.org/as.../v11.2-eng.pdf These will be covered extensively on the course however a head start is recommended ( hint: get automatic on your surfacing protocol!)

All participants must be a FIT graduate of either L1. L2 or L3. There are NO minimum performance requirements.

Volunteers are indeed welcome and you don't have to partake for the whole duration.

The judges course is open to anyone interested (competitors included) and all pre-requisites can be completed during the event.

I hope this answers a few of your questions, we have had alot of interest and this evening official registrations will begin.

Standby for the 'In-List' !

Regards,

Niki"
