It happens sometimes, unfortunately. Despite that they made a good day of it at Crandon Park for Race Day, more to come on that. A good tip off is what the real time winds are doing up weather or where the system is coming from. You can sometimes get a preview of things to come to your area. More at:

Good news is there should be more strong fronts on the way from where that one came from!

Noel you have more than cold fronts going in the Keys for you. You also have that built in pressure gradient over the Keys that often enough that bumps the winds up. Enjoy it but don't be surprised to have more visitors between strong fronts from up this way.
