Swells Inbound to the SE?
.. and a lot of other areas it seems. Still, we have had offshore winds for days. Bad for local kiting in most cases but it looks like it will whip up some nice swells for Standup today and even larger stuff tomorrow. Should have better wind swept faces today subject to tides. They are predicting 10 ft. 10 second waves for Deerfield to Jupiter for Wednesday. The wind is to shift to the north tomorrow as well, 20 - 25 kts. in the am changing to 15 to 20 kts. later on. Should be a good day, perhaps for standup or kiting?

Looks like the swells came back after easing from the morning. Should build through the night given conditions. There's a surfer to the right of the frame for scale. Not huge but rideable.

Got out late tonight for a kiting session. Too late as it happened as the wind shifted side offshore about the time I rigged up. The waves were incredible though, seemed to be 10 ft. perhaps even a bit more at points from the scale of some kiters that were out. They were forming well offshore too. Should clock to the NE tomorrow and drop in wind speed. Hope there is some more of this before the summer calms set in.
