Where do you want to setup your business, what instructor certification, insurance, teaching experience etc. do you have in place currently? Will you have an office/store for your business? As a rule you need an occupational license from the City in which you will be based. Many require a bricks and mortar business address. They may or may not require a beach concession permit, if that is where you intend to conduct your business. It can become involved. Thing is, this appears to be the way of the future, smaller unlicensed schools may fall by the wayside to be replaced by established, insured businesses.
