the direction is pretty much on.....
but that cant be said for the wind speed, i think its worse then before, we had only 12-15 for DP and the sensor was reading over 20

from the S is when it seemed to be off.

Never is. I use this link. It is usually a little higher at the SW, so at least you won't get your hopes up from a false high reading.
If anything, you might be happy it is more wind than reported on the below sensor.
Bayflite found this a couple years ago.
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/data/obhistory/KSPG.html

It spiked right at 8:30 or so.

Danny, it WAS definitely gusting to 28-30, just not where you where.

Like I said B4, it was 12-16 at skyway North but the southside was very close to 30

I woulda rigged my 9 XBow II instead of my 14 contra If I had kited there instead and Lori would have been LITttttt on her 7m Xbow II

It's called wind shadow crossing over land effect on that side whereas the southside is completely un-obstructed on NNE or N wind directions

Yes how come no one was at the south side? I wish we had stayed there but it looked dark and lonely there at the time so we left and drove down to the north side to sail with others. Well I think Raul was out 5 miles from shore so not sure that counts as sailing with others. Wish I had a supprafatty or fatty as it was up and down. I was on the 9xbow and custom 128 so the lulls were killing me as I was trying to make my way out to where Raul was finally threw in the towel on that one and decided we need another big board, for those up and down days and days I under rig. Cuz Raul loves that supperfatty it ain't coming off his feet!

So all in all wish we had stayed south side as I would have been perfect there all well next time southside in those conditions it looked awesome as we drove home.

NE = EB for me!!! It's gonna be NE all day, the tide isn't gonna be TOO low at low tide (that is where I am probably wrong) and Amber and I have the day off!!!

I've been out to EB like twice this season so far...this time last season I was getting sick of having to go back to EB and ride the same launch every day!!! Now I am DYING to get out there!!!
