Default learners kite advice

Hey Guys,
I’m glad to find you here, and thanks to Rick. I’ve got to find a replacement “learners kite” for my recently deceased Naish and I could use some advice. I’m still pretty green but I’m making progress every time I can make it out. Money is a bit tight so I was thinking of picking up a used C kite at WSW, maybe a Diesel or a Fuel. I’d really like to get the Turbo Diesel or even a Waroo, but I feel like I need to make some more progress before I plunk down the big wad. So do ya think I should pick up another used C or wait till I can spring for something Flat?

The Bobber

I have a 13 meter slingshot I could sell you. $300.00 lines, bar, kite, and bag. This has a 5th line setup also.

Chris has a good deal giong on that one. But also talk to E he has been talking about getting some turbo desils for the school. If he does that soon he has a whole quiver of desils. I think 7,11,15 all in excellent shape.

I am in the same boat as you Unimog Bob sevensports has yarga's for 299 also but that does not include bar and lines. I was also thinking of getting a waroo but don't want to spend the money on it to go out and destroy it crashing it during learning. I was just out bid on ebay for a yarga.. I am not sure of the other beginner friendly kites except best anyone have any recommendations also for the upcoming low wind learning?

Bob

Its really a buyers market when it comes to kites right now. If you buy a used kite have someone who is experienced check the kite, lines and control bar out before you fly it. Keeping it cheap while you are still learning and developing your riding style will help with the $$ for a new kite once you've got some experience.
Try to demo different kites, this will make you more informed when it comes time to buy a new kite..
