Default Kite Board lessons

My wife and I have moved to Cape Coral, Florida on April 2004 from Sacramento, Calif. We have made a new year's resolution to learn kite boarding by May 1, 2006. I am 57 and my wife is 51 and we are both in good health and reasonably fit. Both of us have participated in sports all of our lives, and my wife is well versed in athletics.

Right now, I would like to do the research to find out what options we have in learning the sport, what we need to do in order to prepare ourselves, physically, and set our schedule up to reach our goal. If you can help me with this, or point me in the direction, I would appreciate it.
