1 RULES
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing – Windsurfing Competition Rules.
1.2 No national restrictions will apply.
1.3 If there is conflict between the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions (SI’s), the SI’s will take precedence.
1.4 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.
1.5 The sailing instructions of Addendum Q will take precedence for all races except that flag B and scores will not be displayed at the finish line committee boat.
2 ADVERTISING
Boards may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. ISAF Regulation 20 ‘Advertising Code’ shall apply.
3 EVENTS & CLASSES
3.1 The participating classes and divisions shall be:
3.1.1 RS:One Tour – Youth, Masters, and Seniors
Entries are limited to a maximum of 36 racers
3.2 Age Divisions( RS:One):
3.2.1 Youths – Boys and girls under the age of 17 years old on 31
December of the current year
3.2.2 Masters – Men or women under the age of 35 years old on 31
December of the current year
3.2.3 Seniors - Men or women of 35 years old or older on 31 December
of the current year
3.3.3 A minimum of 3 competitors is required to constitute a division.
4 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
4.1 All entries shall meet the requirements of ISAF Regulation 19- Eligibility Code.
4.2 Competitors shall be members of a club or association affiliated with ISAF directly or indirectly.
4.3 Eligible competitors may enter by completing the online registration form at http://www.neilpryde.com/news/latest...ies-miami.html . Racers will be contacted by ASM staff for credit card information to process fees.

5 FEES
Entry is $20 US
6 RACE FORMAT
6.1 The Championship shall be a single discipline, short-course racing event.
6.2 The race format will be decided according the numbers of entries and will be confirmed into the SI’s.
7 SCHEDULE
Friday October 14
1830 to 2100 – Registration Party at ASM Coconut Grove
Saturday 15 October 2011
0800 to 0900 - Registration
0930 - Skippers Meeting (Mandatory)
1000 - Racing
1700 - Prize giving
8 EQUIPMENT
Equipment will be supplied( except wetsuits, life jacket, harness, shoes)
9 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions (SI’s) will be available upon registration.
10 COURSES
Courses will be as described in the sailing instructions.
11 SCORING
to be confirmed into the SI’s.
12 SUPPORT BOATS / SAFETY
12.1 No Support boats will be allowed on the water.
12.2 Personal floatation is strongly advised but it the decision of every competitor.
13 PRIZES
Cash Prize of dollars 4000 will be awarded (dispatch to be confirmed in the SI’s).
14 OFFICIAL CEREMONIES
Competitors are requested to attend the event’s social functions

15 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the event entirely at their own risk [See WCR 4 - Decision to Race]. The organizing authority or any of their officials or representatives or the sponsors or their officials or representatives will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the event.
16 INSURANCE
Each participant shall carry personal insurance with valid third party liability.

17 RIGHT TO USE NAME AND LIKENESS
In registering for the event, competitors automatically grant to the Organizing Authority the right in perpetuity to make, use and show from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproduction of them, taken during the period of the event, for the said Event as defined in the Notice
of Race and Sailing Instructions in which he/she participates without compensation.

B VENUE & PREVAILING CONDITIONS
Race to be held in bay sailing conditions. Winds generally range from 8-15 knots but can exceed 25 knots with the passage of common cold fronts. Water temperature is 78 degrees.

sorry, it's not a kite event, but it will be tons of fun. if you used to windsurf and want to give it a go, it's only $20 and we supply the gear. great party on friday, oct. 14 at ASM in Coconut Grove. stop by if you can.
