The National Kitesurf society of Ireland started their yearly completion with these words. These members of the Board of the National Kitesurf Society (representing the interests of all kitesurfers in their country) are also the moderators of the kiteforum.

When there is plenty of space and that you see a good looking young man with a very good looking Best GP (only on demo, still love my cab!) at 12... DONT GO AND CRASH INTO ME TO TEST MY PATIENCE OR CHILL OUT ABILITY!!!

Belgium, Holland, UK, Spain have these kite societies which normally try to keep kitespots open and try to get a better relationship with the (local) Government or rescue guards. To me this thread was “a new lesson from the hard side”. I have no further comments.

This thread was just removed 10 minutes ago. It’s a new phenomenon for kitesurfing. I understand that this phenomenon exists in some other countries (in surfing).

Sounds like localism, you are right it shows up in spots around the world particularly in surfing. Kiting access where threatened would benefit from more constructive involvement to be sure, not sure localism falls into that category though. It doesn't in its more destructive and violent forms to be sure. I see the post had been deleted with some constructive comments provided by the moderator discouraging this sort of thing.
