Just wondering why an instructor's course would be held at the end of the wind season. I'm not too familiar with IKO's timed guidelines but don't new instructors have to finish a certain number of lessons with in a time period? Sort of seams like a waste to take a course and then not use it for 3 months and forget what you learned. Just my thoughts.

not if you plan to spend the summer season somewhere in the USA or in the world where it is windy.
Which is the smart move to do for for a kitesurfer who have free time and want to ride , travel to other spots, and still make some $$$ teaching and building a solid experience. This course is intended for those who want to become instructor, meaning , ready to travel according to season. They can then finish their Hours to log in out there obviously . Anyway they have up to 2 years to log in 160 hrs of teaching within 30 students. Plenty time.
