Default Surfers Boiled Alive In The Straits Of Florida?

It was a chilly day yesterday in South Florida, a new record cold temperature was set just south in Pompano Beach at 35 F. They said it was colder in Cuba than in Maine that day. It was a bit nippy on the way to work at 36 F. The Florida Current was warm, the air cold, dewpoint temperature came along and instant steam. Lots of it too. The strong NW winds cause refracted swells to form bringing in some unusual looking rollers.

What's for breakfast, surfer soup? Water can steam both when hot and cold fortunately.

The car dash temperature reading. My last car would have also added "Ice Warning." It always made for a nice contrast with the beach and palm trees outside.

All that steams is not hot, not even close today.

Surfers are out but not that driven, didn't see anyone catch a wave. I rarely do on these days. Must be cold?

See you from balmy South Florida. It will warmup starting tomorrow, have a good winter!
