Default First Ever Collegiate Kiteboarding Competition

From March 16th to March 25th, Eckerd College's Triton Kiteboarding Team along with Paul Menta and The Kitehouse, will be hosting a spring break kiteboarding event/Competition in Key West. The week will consist of a freestyle expression session for college riders with a current student ID, judged by riders at the end of the week. There will be parties every night, and all sorts of activities during the day, free kite clinics for other college students with ID, as well as chances to win all sorts of gear, prizes, and swag, the events sponsors will be revieled at a later date and accomodations must be made on your own. The week will culminate with a boarder-x during the weekend and a large celebration/ awards ceremony in one of duval streets many renowned bars the final night. If you are a college student and are interested in attending this event, whether competing or just there to see what its all about, contact me at sextonmg@eckerd.edu This will be the first event paving the way for an entire intercollegiate league, much similar to that for wakeboarding. If you wish to register or sponsor this event contact the above address and stay tuned for more info.

Hey Matt,

Sounds like a fun event. What are you calling it? Please keep us plugged in on developments. Maybe Paul will throw in some speed racing or distance stuff as well. Hint!
