Anyword on what going on with this sensor reporting on IKite website? It appears to be working through other sites.

seems you gotta go straight to the source
that just makes ikantsurf.com even more irrelevant |

I sent an email to Todd Ehret and Stephen Lyles of NOAA. We had this same problem before and these are the guys who got it working last time it went down several years ago.
Keep your fingers crossed. |

Here is the recent service history , but I don't know if its up to date
http://ompl.marine.usf.edu/PORTS/m01...tr_m01010.html The problem seems to be more with comm/ telemetry between ikantsurf and ports than with the telemetry/ comm between the sensor and ports http://ompl.marine.usf.edu/PORTS/PORTS.brochure.html The system is managed, operated, and maintained by the Greater Tampa Bay Marine Advisory Council-PORTS under a cooperative agreement with NOS and the University of South Florida. |

yes, it would seem to be in text format instead of graphical
according to ikantsurf "Data from this station is courtesy of NOAA's Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS)." http://www.ikitesurf.com/windandwher...149&siteID=812 so they pull their data from co-ops not from ports. therein lies the problem |
