Default Starting up

I have been wanting to get in to kiteboarding for the past year or so but I decided I couldn't because I was a little to small and I didn't have the money. So now that I have the money and have gotten bigger I decided to get into the sport. I am 17 I am 6 feet tall and I weigh 150 lbs (if that matters). I don't live in Florida I actually live in Missouri and i have no idea of any kiteboarders around me or any shops. Also I have been looking around and have seen on almost every site they recommend that i need to get a trainer kite to have better kite flying skills, and I need to get lessons. So my question is does anyone know of any place in or by Missouri to get lessons and does anyone have a recommendation on what size/brand of trainer I should get,or should I even get a trainer kite at all? Thanks
