Default Kite Safety Sign Idea

I just put this together in photoshop..
Feel free to comment/add/discuss/etc..

1. colors of the harness tag are examples

2. i think a local website should be added to the sign with all the details.

3. regarding the incoming/outgoing Right-of-way.. i wanted to make it clear that if you are on the beach and not launching, you need to give RoW to the incoming kiters.. BUT if the new rider is already off the beach and readying to launch, the rider on the water needs to give RoW.. basically the first one into that 200' launch-land zone has RoW .. pretty standard stuff, but some people are CONSISTENTLY horrible at this.

4. regarding the "in trouble" section.. this just kinda came to mind as I was typing it out. Not really something we have discussed. It should be obvious that if someone is in trouble there are a few things to think about..
- RoW must be given ASAP (seems obvious)
- not every other rider is skilled enough to help rescue a board or recover a kite and in fact its putting 2 riders at risk to do so (not so obvious until you are involved .. I am guilty of this myself)
- All riders MUST be aware that they kite completely at their own risk and are the only ones that can be in control of their equipment and are responsible 100000% for it at all times. Sometimes you might get lucky to get help.. but it cannot be expected.

I am just not sure if this is worth adding to a public sign.

and.. i dont think this should be on Randy's shoulders to maintain. He will be able to see if the sign is vandalized or not more often than the rest of us.. but the responsibility needs to fall on others shoulders..
unless Randy is all for it.. then .. its his call.

honest response... i wouldnt bother reading it..
except on a weekend day were we have a front comming through with a good 3-5 hrs of wind
most people dont have much time to ride, they probably wont take the time to read that hole sign... but this is just my opinion, im usually a minority

if a sign suddenly appeared at skyway i bet you would look it over..

most everyone on this forum already does all these things .. its informational .. and it might give us some leg to stand on when we have to ask someone to put their kite down because they are being unsafe.
