Default 45 or 55cm bar for a Waroo 12m in Miami FL?

ill end up buying another kite...prob a waroo...what size bar should i get so i can use just one bar...or should i jut have two bars regardless?


im 6ft 140lb...

That size kite (the 12m) can use either bar, so, it depends which other size waroo you anticipate gettting. If you anticipate getting the 9m in the near future, then get the 45cm bar. If you anticipate getting the 16, then get the 55cm. That way you can use the same bar on both kites

Some people like to have two bars, one backup. So, size of the next kite will still matter.

this is going to be my 1st season...so i dont know what other size kite i will need for miami... im 6ft 140 lb....

I would guess you are going to use the 12m alot at your size because it should get windier before too long (let's hope). With use of a larger board you should get up and go in about 13 knots and with time, feel comfy up to about 22 or so.

A 9m would overlap that a tad at around 18 knots at your size and keep you going up to about 30.
The first season is the BEST! So much fun and always improving.
Prepare for addiction.

Until you experience 20+, its hard to relate, but I recommend being extra safe in the 25+ stuff. Especially the first time.
Its a TON of power and stuff happens fast.
