Default Bungee Riding?

Tis the season for light to no wind, although we've been lucky with some breeze lately. That is at least until quitting time! There's the Grinch boarder winch and it looks like some folks are suggesting a braided bungee cable for a similar purpose.

Just saw this the other night on the beach, a Bungee Banshee. Read about them online a while back. Looks fairly straight forward with some potential for injury.** Wouldn't want a bystander to get nailed by one of these things by being too close either. These guys said their anchor wasn't adequate, not sure what they are using but you don't want to yank the thing towards you. Not a lot of instruction on setup and use appears on the website. They do mention using a large, heavy danforth anchor embedded offshore, not on the beach as these guys did. Some HD video from the Evo cell phone follows.

This fellow was pulled off the board and ran it off, fast.

This guy stayed on.

Anyone have experience with these, if so, how did it work out for you?
