Thumbs up Club Med is not dead!

Er, I think.

I've been checking the place out and I think an amphibious landing is possible. We could camo our faces all Navy Seal-like and go in by night, but I don't think its necessary.

The buoys don't extend all the way to the rocks and I can get my boat in and drop guys and equipment off then out again to anchor in 5' of water.

In N-NE wind there is still nice flat water outside the buoys and waves on the point, but no more floating over the beach whilst jumping.

No one owns the beach (below the highwater mark) and no one owns the water- NOT EVEN SAUL KERZNER.

I realise Atlantis Secuituty may get pissed but we won't be kiting inside the buoys and they won't let their guests go outside them (no shit). If they call the police, they call the police- but I don't see it happening and even if they do, we'll get a good sesh in first. I'll bring a camera.

When the fronts start again, who's down?

For planning your amphibious campaign. Best of luck, looks like a prime riding spot during the frontal season.

I was just at Atlantis (the new building facing this area). I was wondering why none of the local were kiting there. I look like an awesome spot. I guess there is no access to this area. Good Luck on the task.

We used to kite there until Atlantis bot Club M. It is primo. Pan flat in 25 knots with good waves off the point downwind.

At first we could drive in, then had to boat in while under construction.
Now we're effectively shut out as they've strung 2 rows of buoys 10 and 20 yds off the beach.

Looks very nice. Damn Atlantians seem to re-conquering land!? The times I was over there when Club Med and Holiday Inn were still around there never was any useable wind. Had to have made for some great riding. Do you ever boat over to the NE inside and around Rose Island and closer small cays to ride?

I have been to Harbour Island and done some kiting but not much else.
Frankly up until this year, Club M was soo good and 20 mins by boat- why go farther.

Now I may have to gas 'er up and get out there.
