Default 2008 Cabrinha Switchblade III 16M

This is my go to best kite I have ever had and use the most. I am buying a 2011 this year and need to sell my old kite. This kite boosts you so high in the air and keeps you there, it makes you beg for more.

There have been times in light wind riding this kite and my Jimmy Lewis Flight Deck I have been the only one riding.

Also, us bigger riders (I am 235lbs) need a 16M kite. I will sell it for $600. It has been repaired three times through the years, but still performs like a champ. I hope someone locally buys it so I can still see it on the water.

Gris,

I am sure you have heard, but just in case, Cabrinha is putting the 16M Switchblade back in the lineup for 2011.

looking good out there today on your 16M switch Gris,

I'm in the same gravity range, and I have to admit the 14m
switchy is plenty for me.

They are definitely great kites........

Yes, both lines will have the 16M. I believe that the Crossbow 16 replaced the Contra 17, and this years Crossbow has alot of potential in the lightwind category. Can't wait to see if the kite delivers on an already proven design.

As far as the 16 SB, I think the reason it hasn't existed is there was not much of a power difference between the 14 and 16.

With that said, alot of the bigger guys have really liked the 16 SB for its power and have really missed having it as an option. My guess is this years 16 SB will be noticeably different than the 14M in power, again we will see when the kites hit the water.

I know Damien is eager to get these kites in our hands and check out what they can do.

The riders have spoken and they want the 16M SB back. Cabrinha listened. I know I have shared the thoughts on the beach about the lack of this size being available.

It will be very interesting to check out these two large kites and what kind of power they have. I am sure the Crossbow will beat it hands down, but what will the SB do that the CB can't? IMO there is a huge difference between the CB 13 and SB 14. HUGE! So we will have to wait and see.
